Kinto Sol - El Ultimo Suspiro
KINTO SOL is still the highest selling Latin urban group in the country.
Their new album “El Ultimo Suspiro”, remained at the #1 position on the
Billboard Latin Rhythm chart for a second consecutive week, according to
soundscan.
The success of “El Ultimo Suspiro” is largely due to the
dedicated following by the group’s “Kintosoldados”, the loyal fan-base that have
helped give Kinto Sol commercial success even without major radio play. They
have largely responded to the new album claiming it to be the group’s best
release yet. The album’s two lead off singles “En Un Bar” and “Somos Mexicanos”
have become anthems online and throughout the underground Latin hip-hop
communities.
The group, comprised of brothers Manuel “Skribe” Garcia,
Javier "DJ Payback" Garcia and Eduardo "El Chivo” Garcia, is known for focusing
on social, economic, political and immigration issue through their song’s
lyrics. The themes of their music have made them one of the most respected Latin
rap groups not only in the Mexican-American community but throughout the entire
genre. In 2008, they won the Latin Billboard Award for Best Rap/Hip-Hop Album
and in 2010 they were nominated in the category of Best Latin Rhythm Duo or
Group of the Year. “El Ultimo Suspiro” promises to bring similar
acknowledgements.
Kinto Sol recently wrapped up promotional visits to
Miami and Los Angeles in support of their new album and will continue
performances and interviews on key national programming throughout the rest of
the year.

El éxito
de “El Último Suspiro” es por la mayor parte debido al apoyo de sus
“Kintosoldados”, los fanáticos dedicados del grupo que han ayudado a que los
discos de Kinto Sol sean unos de los más exitosos del genero sin ningún tipo de
apoyo radial. Estos fans han declarado que el nuevo álbum es el mejor producto
que ha lanzado el grupo y los dos sencillos “En Un Bar” y “Somos Mexicanos” se
han convertido en himnos por todo el Internet y las comunidades del hip-hop
Latino.
El grupo, compuesto por los tres hermanos Mexicanos, Manuel
"Skribe" García, Javier "DJ Payback" García y Eduardo "El Chivo” García, es
conocido por confrontar problemas sociales, políticos, económicos y de
inmigración en sus líricas. Los temas de sus canciones los han convertido en
unos de los raperos más respetados no solo en la comunidad Mexicana pero por
todo el género del Hip-Hop Latino. En el 2008 ganaron el premio Billboard Latino
por el mejor Álbum Rap/Hip Hop del Año y en el 2010 fueron nominados en la
categoría Álbum Latin Rhythm del Año, Dúo o Grupo. “El Último Suspiro” promete
traerles más de este tipo de reconocimientos.
Kinto Sol recientemente
visito a Miami y Los Ángeles como parte de una gira promocional en apoyo de su
nuevo lanzamiento y continuaran con presentaciones y entrevistas en programas
nacionales durante el resto del año.
